I am a trustee of a condo on the Wilshire Corridor and I listed our property with Christophe Choo. The condo market on the corridor has been tough during the pandemic where very few units were sold. I write this letter to highly recommend Chris Choo to be your next listing/buying agent in the Beverly Hills & Bel Air / West LA area. I was the previous owner of the home located in 2967 N. Beverly Glen Circle, Bel Air California 90077. After keeping the property for nearly 8 years as my second home, I decided that due to my personal plans of not wanting to move back to the area and the ailing age of my mother who is 82 years old, it was prudent to sell it. Due to an existing relationship with the original agent who helped me acquire the property, I let her list the home against my better judgment as she was not an expert in the area. Since the market was softening and because she didn’t have access to a base of prospective clientele, she was unable to sell the home and it sat in the market for six months. I knew I had to change the agent and how the home was being marketed. I was fortunate to have met Chris immediately after the exclusive period had ended.

I was referred to Chris through another top agent in Orange County, California. After a brief meeting with him, I was very impressed with his knowledge of the market, his access to modern methods of marketing as well as his successful past. His reading of the market trends and suggested listing price was completely in line with my thoughts at that time. He was direct, assertive and extremely confident so I didn't hesitate to give him the prepared a professionally produced video, website and photo shoot of the home. He prepared the market and drummed up excitement from prospective buyers. he invited several interested parties to the first open house and he achieved an offer two days after. Within a week the negotiations had been concluded and we entered of the buyer and the seller throughout the negotiations. When large sums of money changes hands people tend to get very sensitive, but Chris demonstrated his knowledge of people's sensitivities and kept the process goin through a successful conclusions.

I would say beyond his effectiveness, he has good and kind caring heart. He went out of his way to support my mother who was living and takin care of the home for me. She doesn't speak good English so he and his assistants went out of their way, beyond their duties to explain everything to her and they also helped us look for a temporary apartment while we search for another property for her. Since I am living in Hong Kong, I could not thank Chris enough for his kindness and generosity with his time. Although I cannot guarantee every one of Chris's future assignments will be as successful and pleasant as it was for me but I understand why he is so successful.
