Julia Shuart, Partner A licensed Landscape Architect, Julia has well over a decade of professional design experience. She prides herself on developing close client and consultant relationships and brings a high level of professionalism, communication, and sophistication to her work. She has been involved in a wide range of public and private sector projects, including mixed-use developments, institutional, and high-end residential properties. Julia began her professional career at AECOM (formerly EDAW) where, for five years, she worked on public realm urban spaces, streetscapes, transit-oriented and ecological design, community planning, and recreation, predominantly in the greater Los Angeles area. Julia considers landscape architecture an art form and strives to successfully juxtapose architecture, natural systems, infrastructure and unique site conditions while balancing client budgets and user needs. She pays attention to detail and is meticulous and engaged. Julia holds bachelors of arts degrees in Studio Art and German from UCLA, a Master in Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, and sits on the Westwood Community Design Review Board.
