It's a gorgeous day in Venice Beach,
California, and I can't wait to show you.
732 Vernon avenue.
Come on, let's take a tour.
I'm in Venice Beach, California, today
at this amazing architectural home
designed by Hassan Majd.
This is such an amazing and unique home.
This open, expansive feeling,
it's modern architecture,
which is what everyone wants.
And we're in the heart of Silicon Beach.
Beautiful French Open floors throughout.
But you walk in the space and light
and bright everywhere.
You have this huge open room
with the dining area,
a family room or kind of kids
playroom with a powder room.
You come in here
to this terrific living area,
which is off the kitchen, this wonderful,
very easy to use fireplace.
I have a wood burning fireplace,
which is a lot of work.
You just flip the switch on and off
and gosh, it can feel
such amazing heat from this.
And you sit here with this open,
expansive feeling inside
and out from the front to the outside.
It's indoor outdoor living,
which is perfect.
Being eight blocks away from the beach,
the kitchen is very cool.
It's got the center island
so your family can sit here and relax.
You can cook and prepare your vegetables.
It's easy to clean.
All the appliances are top of the line.
Viking. Viking six
for an arranged Viking refrigerator,
Viking microwave and warming door
and beautiful what I call
airline style cabinets that go up right
and have a door from here to the outside
and the door from the living area
to the outside as well.
But it's just got this great flow.
And when you come in this way, you can see
the wonderful entry door, the feeling of
just coming in and just to this great open
expanse of space.
So one of the great things about this
main huge open areas,
you have this separate area
here with this kind of built in separator,
which is currently used as a kids
study room, work room, home school. Right.
If you have kids homeschool
or it could be a great separate
family room, a TV area, family room,
whatever you want.
You have a full powder room
right there. Any of these great
sliding doors just slide
open to the front porch terrace area.
I feel that wonderful
breeze coming through.
And you really don't need air conditioning
because that breeze just flows right
through here, through the front door,
all through the house,
which is part of the wonderful environment
of this indoor outdoor living.
Let's go upstairs now, shall we?
These stairs are even cool.
I mean, the metal railings, the high
ceilings, you got multiple skylights.
It's so light and bright.
I mean, I just walked up
and here I am standing in the sun
because it's wonderful.
Kind of separate hallway upstairs
that flanks, the three bedrooms.
You have a guest bedroom here,
guest bedroom, their laundry room
and the principal suite.
So let's go in the principal suite
and take a look in.
Coming in from the main hallway,
you have this great principal suite
with high ceilings,
lots of recessed lights,
which are in every room of the house.
And aside from all the amenities
in this room, the balcony,
the terrace, the principal bathroom,
we have this wonderful
outdoor private deck
which connects to the special room.
I can't wait to show you.
Oh. A spa bathroom.
Everybody wants a spa bathroom.
This, first of all, is 18 to 20 foot
ceilings with skylights.
These incredible stone, tile walls
and texture, amazing texture and color.
This grey color, double sinks,
little vanity area,
wonderful soaking
tub with bubbles and all that.
And this really cool
shower, which is great
room for two or three.
Any of this wonderful
little seats to sit and relax
if I turn the rain shower it'll ruin
my leather jacket so I won't do that.
And it was a really terrific
principal bathroom
coming right out
of the principal bathroom.
We have a full walk in closet
and another private little staircase
yet again with more skylights
up to your own private deck.
And you come out here and you're like,
wow, the palm trees, this little
wonderful sitting area, the blue skies
and that beautiful ocean breeze.
Oh, what a nice place to relax and unwind.
Isn't this great?
Privacy. That's what everybody wants.
One of the great things about this
house is every bedroom is all suite
and each one has its own private balcony.
Here you have the sliding doors
overlooking the beautiful trees again,
the beautiful oak wood floors
which are throughout the house,
the entire wall of professionally
designed closets and your own bathroom,
full bathroom, high ceilings
with wonderful recessed lights.
It's always light and bright,
which is what you want, right?
And this is our third upstairs
bedroom, which also has the high
ceilings, skylights.
Another private balcony
overlooking the trees and palms
and light and bright
in its own private bath.
Another wonderful closet.
One of my favorite spots
in this property
is this outdoor area here off the master,
and this connects with the door
to the hallway upstairs and this outdoor
upstairs terrace to the bonus room,
which I'll show you shortly.
And overlooking the wonderful
central courtyard.
So out here, you sit in the sun.
You can enjoy these lounge chairs,
put on the fire, the little firepit.
Sit here and relax in the lounge chair
and just enjoy the fresh breezes
or try this kind of fun chair.
I've had to try it. I've been trying.
So, wobble chair. Let's see.
Here we go. Oh. Life's
got to be fun, right?
Oh, it's actually kind of relaxing.
You may want to try it.
That's Venice life for you.
This is the special a space
which does not exist in many homes.
But the last couple of years,
life has changed.
This is a wonderful space
that could be as it's currently
used as a home office
desk area, desk area.
Again, the beautiful French wood floors.
You have a powder room there
with sink and toilet.
Another private balcony overlooking
the other houses across the way.
And a staircase yet
up to another private deck.
But this space again
has the high ceilings, the skylights,
the wonderful sidelight windows
to give you extra light.
But this could be a great office
to work at home, could be a family room,
could be a screening room, movie theater.
Or you could do a couple of minor
adjustments and make this a full ADU
for your guests to have their own
private guesthouse above the garage.
What an amazing space
that's so rare and unique
and something that you'll really
use no matter who you are.
